Health Advantages of Spaying or Neutering
For your pet’s health, we recommend spaying or neutering for all pets. Spaying or neutering does not cause a change in your pet’s guarding instincts, personality, intelligence, weight, playfulness, or affection. We recommend spaying or neutering puppies and kittens when they are between 4 and 6 months of age. The health benefits of spaying and neutering include:
- Avoiding cancers associated with the reproductive system
- Population control
- Reduction in serious medical problems associated with the reproductive system
