Dr. Matthew Timmons
Dr. Timmons earned his DVM degree at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine after obtaining his undergraduate degree in molecular and cellular biology at the University of Illinois. He has a special interest in clinical pathology, ultrasonography, and exotic animal medicine. He is a member of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Timmons grew up in the Chicagoland area and loves cheering on the Bears, Bulls, Hawks, and White Sox. He also is an avid runner and enjoys spending his free time with his wife and dog, Lily.
Dr. Tom Staudacher
Dr. Staudacher graduated from Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine after doing his undergraduate work in biology at the University of Northern Iowa. He has been in practice since 1997 and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, and the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Staudacher has a special interest in ophthalmology and ultrasound. He also enjoys practicing preventative medicine and surgery. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife, 6 children, 7 dogs, 30 chickens, 4 goats, 2 pot-bellied pigs, 2 sheep, 2 donkeys, 28 ducks, 2 turkeys, 2 geese, and a horse. He also enjoys watching and playing sports.
Dr. Sandra Faeh
Dr. Faeh obtained her veterinary degree from the University of Illinois after doing her undergraduate work in the animal sciences, also at the University of Illinois. Her major interests include pediatric medicine and surgery, focusing mostly on cats and dogs.
She has been in practice since 1996 and is a member of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. She is the past president of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association and has sat on many veterinary committees at both the state and national levels.
Dr. Faeh and her husband share their home with their three sons, as well as Bremy and Ady, their French bulldogs, and Sasha, a Himalayan kitty.
Dr. William Franke
Dr. Franke received his degree from the University of Minnesota. Prior to vet school he attended Truman State University where he majored in Biology. He has a special interest and enjoys soft tissue surgery.
In Dr. Franke’s free time he enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with his dog Bodie and reading.
Dr. Sandrah Laabs
Dr. Sarah Laabs received her veterinary degree from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to vet school she attended Michigan State University and studied Zoology. Her interests are in oncology and surgery.
Dr. Laabs grew up in England (so that’s where that accent comes from!) but now enjoys living in the Midwest. In her free time she loves spending days hiking with her husband and their Labrador, Breslin. She also likes kickboxing and traveling.
Dr. Andrew Klingsporn
Dr. Klingsporn attended Northeastern Illinois University, where he received a Bachelor’s of Science degree. He then traveled to the island of Grand Cayman where he attended St. Matthew’s School of Veterinary Medicine and then spent his clinical year at University of Illinois. He has a special interest in emergency and internal medicine. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, and the Emergency and Critical Care Society.
Dr. Klingsporn was born and raised in Illinois and is a huge Chicago Bears fan. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, 3 children, and their golden retriever.
Dr. Emily Navrotski
Dr. Navrotski obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Biochemistry from Illinois Wesleyan University. She then went to the University of Illinois to obtain her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with honors as class Salutatorian. While attending U of I, Dr. Navrotski was recognized for her clinical excellence in both internal medicine and anesthesia. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association with special interests in surgery, neurology, feline medicine and behavior.
Dr. Navrotski was born in Ithaca, New York and grew up in Naperville, IL. She has a cat named Penny and in her free time enjoys biking, rock climbing, watching movies and trying new recipes.
Leslie Shibovich, Hospital Manager
Leslie has been with The Pet Experts since 1997, throughout which time she’s been working her magic behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. While her daily tasks keep her plenty busy, she makes time to better her management skills by attending annual veterinary conferences and workshops, as well as various classes on computer programs. She thoroughly enjoys the business aspect of the practice and also looks forward to each and every opportunity to meet and speak with clients and to help with all of their needs.
Outside of work, Leslie enjoys running and spending time with her beautiful daughter and her precious pets, her boxers, Addi & Lacey.
