2017 Featured Fosters: A Year In Review
The 2017 foster program at the clinic was a huge success! Through the program, we provide housing and care on a regular basis for a few rescue animals at a time as well as assist the rescues with the adoption process. This year it amounted to nearly 100 animals! The goal is to help the overwhelmed rescues whose shelters, volunteers and fosters are constantly overflowing with animals looking for their forever homes. Having another location for possible adopter families to visit the animals and having these loving professionals looking after these pets makes things that much easier for the rescue group and the volunteers.
My name is Shakespeare. They call me "Shakes" for short! I am approx. 1 years old. I am very sweet but will benefit from training. I am crate trained and housebroken! I require an experienced owner with patience so I am told. I am active, energetic and need to keep busy. I love mental stimulation as well. I attended doggy daycare and have learned to play well with others. I give sloppy kisses if that will help me find my forever home! Watch and share his video on Facebook HERE.

Meet Domino! He's a 1 year old Beagle Mix looking for his forever home! He is up to date on his vaccines and house trained. He would benefit from some training but otherwise a happy dog that loves to play! He should meet any other dog in the home to be sure they get along and would do best with older children in the household.
Meet Ned! Ned is now back on the adoption circuit, quite sadly due to the unexpected loss of his adoptive dad. He was really shaken up by this loss, so he needs some extra understanding and love right now. Ned is a handsome Mini American Eskimo Dog, approx. 8+ in age and under 20 lbs. Ned will prefer to have a quiet home, no children, and no active in-your-face dogs. Ned is generally an easy going boy, as long as things are going his way! He likes to have a space to call his own, but he also loves to hang with his special person and get a good back rub! Ned has lost some of his vision (no meds needed) therefore it is imperative that no one sneaks up on him or tries to touch/grab him from the side or from behind. Ned can get pretty snarky and cranky if he doesn't know that you are coming up to him. Also, this boy does not like stairs, we feel that much of this is to do with his compromised eye sight. He will allow his person to carry him up and down stairs, but a one level home will be best for him. Ned would be a perfect dog for someone who is recently retired and looking for a companion now. He is somewhat slow to warm up to new people, but once trust is earned, he is a buddy for life! Ned is neutered, vaccinated, Heartworm negative, and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Ned, please send an email to: CERbuddies@live.com
Jeju arrived this week from South Korea. Jeju is a Spitz/Sammy mix who is 2 years old. Jeju was found as a stray on Jeju Island off of South Korea. An island where lots of dogs are left. He is a great dog but we will need to see what the best home will be for him. Details to come! If interested though please email CERApplications@gmail.com
